Two men have been arrested after Gardaí seized a gun and ammunition in Kylemore in Dublin.
Officers were watching two men from a distance, and called for back up when what appeared to be a gun was produced.
When additional Gardaí arrived, the men - who are both in their 30s - were arrested.
They are being kept at Clondalkin Garda Station.
The gun and ammo will now be sent to the Garda Ballistics Unit for analysis.
