Gardaí are investigating a gun attack in Cork city, believed to have happened around 5am this morning.
A man presented himself to Cork University Hospital, with gunshot wounds in the early hours.
The man's condition is described as stable.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in the Wilton area of the city, between 5am and 5.45am, who may have noticed anything unusual.
Road users with video or dashcam footage are asked to make it available to investigating officers.
