A 19-year-old man who died in a jetski accident in Clare yesterday was from Limerick City.
The teenager was killed when the jetski he was on flipped over neat the bridge on Lough Derg, Killaloe.
Two teenage girls, who were also on the jetski were brought safely back to shore by onlookers.
The Killaloe coast guard unit was sent to the scene shortly before 5.30pm and began a search, along with the local fire brigade and the Rescue 115 helicopter from Shannon.
The man's body was recovered close to the bridge.
The Clare Fire Rescue Service stood down close to 8pm, after the man's body was found.
A post-mortem will be carried out on the body of the young man later today.
