Young Irish goalkeeper Nathan is the story we need
A young Irish goalkeeper has gone viral after he was filmed practicing his shot-stopping in a unique way.
11-year-old Nathan Fanagan was putting in a few extra hours of training while the football season is on a break and schools are shut.
However, footage captured by his mum Sarah-Jayne Tobin went further than she, or he, could have imagined.
When you’re a goalkeeper... and an only child... in self isolation... and trying to keep up with your training... 😂😂came up with this himself! I’m so impressed. #coronavirus #StayHomeStaySafe pic.twitter.com/FFzJ1LE3N1

He uses his wall to rebound his own shots so he can save them - genius!
The video quickly went viral as it was picked up by Man United legend Peter Schmeichel, as well as current 'keeper David De Gea.
Love it! 💪🏼😍 https://t.co/Xmdp3ZDXf6

Nothing, not even an evil virus like the CONVID-19 should stop a talented goalkeeper from working on getting better. Well done young man👏👏 https://t.co/0od38Z2EMt

Training offers
However it wasn't the only praise to come Nathan's way, as he was also offered a session with Man United midfielder Juan Mata.
One day, if he wants, and when all this is over, I would like to practice my freeckicks with him on goal! What do you think? 🙌 https://t.co/Brl6omumf4

In addition, and probably Nathan's biggest offer to date, he was offered a one-on-one training session with Watford 'keeper Ben Foster.
What a legend!!!! I don’t know how we’re gonna be able to do it but I’m gonna have to put a training session on for ya!!!! Keep going mate I love it👌👌👍👍👏👏
