Met Éireann's issued a yellow weather warning 6 counties in the East.
Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Louth, Wicklow and Monaghan will see 2 to 5 centimetres of snow falling.
The forecaster has also warned of snow and ice in four counties in Northern Ireland.
Antrim, Armagh, Down and Tyrone, mostly also on the Eastern side of the island, are affected.

Emergency Teams Are Ready
Met Éireann briefed the National Directorate of Fire and Emergency Management this morning on this week's cold snap.
They've forecast snow for much of the country this week.
While local authorities are preparing for a potential severe weather response.
Forecasters exppect temperatures to stay in the low single digits today with sleet and snow in the east.
An Garda Síochána, the HSE and other front line response units are preparing should they be needed.
