Vigils are taking place this evening and over the weekend in memory of Ashling Murphy.
Socially distanced events are taking place all around the country in solidarity with Ashling Murphy who was attacked on the banks of the Grand Canal outside the town of Tullamore on Wednesday afternoon and died at the scene.
