Police in Barcelona have confirmed that several people are dead after a van crashed into crowds on Las Ramblas
They have also confirmed that it is a terrorist attack.
The driver reportedly fled afterwards.
Rail stations have been shut and people are being told to stay away from the area.
There are also reports from local media that two armed men have entered a local restaurant - that's not been confirmed by police.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's monitoring developments in Barcelona closely.
