Dog saved from River Liffey
Two people who jumped into the River Liffey in Dublin to save a dog have been rescued along with the animal.
The drama unfolded outside the Four Courts this afternoon.
At around 1:45pm this afternoon, two members of the public saw a dog in the river.

They jumped in to rescue the animal and three units of Dublin Fire Brigade were called to the scene.
A rescue boat came to their aid and pulled the people along with the dog into the vessel.

Dublin fire brigade says it's now looking to contact the dogs owner.
