A Canadian tourist has died while climbing Carrantuohill in Co Kerry.
The 32 year old was with a female companion when he fell at around 3 o'clock on Monday afternoon.
Weather conditions at the time were poor.
The man's body was later recovered by mountain rescue personnel.
A post mortem will be carried out at Tralee General Hospital.
