Topshop Closing due to restructuring
Six Irish clothes stores including Topshop are set to close as a result of restructuring at the Arcadia group.
The UK retailers creditors have today approved a plan to save the company following declining sales and high rents.
Four stores in Dublin including Evans on Henry St, Topshop at Jervis St, Wallis at Liffey Valley as well as Dorothy Perkins in Cork and Miss Selfridge in Galway are impacted by the move.
Ian Grabiner, CEO of Arcadia Group, said:
"After many months of engaging with all our key stakeholders, taking on board their feedback, and sharing our turnaround plans, the future of Arcadia, our thousands of colleagues, and our extensive supplier base is now on a much firmer footing.
