Customers of Tesco Mobile who are holidaying overseas this summer may suffer interruptions with their data roaming.
It comes as some European countries turn off their 3G networks.
Technology Correspondent, Jess Kelly says the company is working on a solution but can't say when it will be in place.
"In a statement issued to Newstalk, Tesco Mobile has confirmed that 3G coverage has been impacted for those travelling abroad on the network."
The statement reads
‘Unfortunately, Tesco Mobile Ireland has no control over how the International networks are managed, however, we are doing everything we can to support our customers.’
The company says it has invested in a 4G roaming solution.
This is currently available to Bill Pay customers and will roll out for Pre Pay customers this summer.
