The good weather is set to continue today, with some areas reaching highs of 27 degrees
While the midlands will experience the highest temperatures and the best weather, other areas could hit 23 or 24 degrees.
It's not expected to last though, with the weather turning more unsettled in the coming days.
There is a chance of some thunderstorms, and they could land as early as tomorrow.
However, they're not expected to be widespread.
"When you see temperatures this high, and when we add into that some low pressure pushing up through tomorrow (Wednesday) and into Thursday, there is a risk of course of some thunderstorms breaking out," said Cathal Nolan of Ireland's Weather Channel.
"I don't they'll be particularly intense."
"It's a little bit diffcult to tell. Thunderstorms are one of the most difficult to forecast.
"While there is a risk, I don't think it will be a particularly widespread risk."
