A very successful Special Olympic World Games for Ireland
Team Ireland have just touched down on Irish soil after a very successful Special Olympic World Games.
The 91 Irish athletes that travelled to Abu Dhabi for the Special Olypmics have arrived home.

After the seven days of competition, Team Ireland has returned with a sensational haul of 86 medals.
They are made up of 30 gold, 29 silver and 27 bronze.
The Games, which have also been heralded as one of the most successful ever for Team Ireland, saw an action-packed week of sport, with medal wins for the Irish squad in all 12 sports.
Abu Dhabi welcomed 7,000 athletes from 170 countries to the Games in the past week.
