Health strike
Unions representing 10,000 health workers say three more days of strike action look set to go ahead next week.
A strike by support staff is taking place across the country as part of a dispute over pay.
The strike began at 8am this morning and has caused significant disruption.
Surgeries, inpatient procedures and outpatient appointments have had to be scaled back.
Standing strong for #PayJustice, together with their colleagues right across the country, @SIPTU members at CUH and CUMH take to the picket line this morning! Be sure to show your support and solidarity to these workers over the next 24 hours ✊ #WillYouMissUsSimon @siptuhealth pic.twitter.com/fXqFsAFFIK

While catering services are also affected - with soup and sandwiches being served at a number of hospitals instead of full meals.
Some patients have even been told to bring their own food.
The dispute is because of a job evaluation scheme - workers say they haven't gotten a recommended pay rise.
Three more strikes are planned next week if there's no breakthrough between the sides.
