Storm Brian is set to batter Ireland with gale force winds and torrential rain this weekend.
Met Eireann has issued a number of weather alerts ahead of the storm's arrival.
A status orange wind warning is in place for southwestern coastal counties and come into effect from tomorrow morning.
Counties Clare, Kerry, Cork, Mayo, Galway,Waterford and Wexford could be hit by gusts of up to 130km/h.
It is predicted that up to Up to 50mm of rain could fall in these areas before Saturday night.
