Status yellow 'Snow-Ice' warning issued.
Met Éireann has issued a status yellow 'snow-ice' warning for Ireland.
We can expect icy and slippery conditions.
However, scattered sleet and snow showers will affect Ulster and Connacht.
Some of these showers will spread into central and eastern areas at times, with the odd flurry further south.
One to two centimeters of snow fall is expected.
A weather warning will come into effect for the entire country from 9pm tonight. It will remain in place until 7pm tomorrow evening.
Temperatures will drop to a low of -2 to +2 degrees overnight.
The remainder of the week is expected to be cold. Similar frosty temperatures are expected on Wednesday night.
