A status orange wind warning has been issued for most of the country.
We can expect winds of up to 130 kilometers an hour in Leinster and Munster as Storm Eleanor reaches Ireland.
A status yellow wind warning has also been issued for the rest of the country.
The warnings come into effect from 4 o clock this afternoon.
