SPIN SOUTH WEST's 'ALT- Guerilla Sessions' Wins Gold at the 2017 IMRO Radio Awards

SPIN South West took home the gold award in the 'New Music/Musical Talent Programme' category at the prestigious IMRO Radio Awards last night.

As well as 'ALT- Guerilla Sessions' winning gold, SPIN South West also won a bronze award for their 'ALT- Laurie Shaw Special' in the 'Music Special' category- showcasing some of the best radio programming broadcast by SPIN South West over the past year.

In a similar vein to the IFTAs, the annual ceremony celebrates the best of Irish radio and SPIN South West was nominated among the best in radio broadcasting again this year. 

 

The ceremony, which is regarded as the Oscars of the radio industry in Ireland, was held in the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny and saw the biggest names in Irish radio in attendance.
