Covid-19 plan
The entire country has been placed onto level two restrictions under a new government Covid-19 plan.
It means the current restrictions will be in place for another three weeks.
However, further measures are being introduced in Dublin.
Pubs that don't serve food won't open in the capital.
- no more than two households should meet at any given time, and you should have a maximum of six visitors from one other household to your home. Socialising can continue at indoor or outdoor public venues, but only with people from your own household or one other household, and in groups of no more than six
- pubs and bars not serving food should remain closed beyond 21 September
- higher and third level institutions should consider enhanced protective measures
- those living in Dublin should be encouraged to limit travel outside the region, and only meet one other household when outside the county

Here's the guidance on sport attendance:
- up to 100 patrons/spectators outdoors and 50 patrons/spectators indoors
- up to 200 for outdoor stadia or other fixed outdoor venues with a minimum accredited capacity of 5,000

Up to 100 people are expected to be allowed attend weddings and funerals as part of the plan.
The government is also adopting the European Commission's new traffic light system for foreign travel.
