Roy Keane's father dies
Maurice ' Mossie' Keane, Roy Keane's father, has died.
He passed away yesterday after being ill for a number of months.
The Cork native took great pride in his son's achievements and was a well known figure in the city.
Cobh Ramblers FC wish to express our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the late Maurice ‘Mossie’ Keane following his recent passing.
Maurice’s sons Roy, Denis and Pat all played for the club and he will be deeply missed.

Roy Keane is one of Manchester United and Ireland's most successful footballers.
He has most recently served as assistant manager to Martin O'Neill for the Republic of Ireland and Nottingham Forest.
