One in seven people say they'll never be able to afford a home.
That's according to new research from Aviva, who found 90% of 1,292 adults asked said that they'd prefer to own their home.
Ann O'Keeffe from Aviva says a significant amount of people are struggling to meet rising house prices "When we dug into that number only half of those thought they might be able do it in the next five years and 28% of the other half of people actually now think they'll never be able to buy a home."
