Primark is warning of increased prices on its autumn and winter collection.
The fashion chain says it'll make "selective" rises, having managed to avoid most pressures from inflation until now.
Its owners say they're still committed to ensuring everyday affordability.
The price hikes are to counteract sever inflationary pressures, its parent company made the statement today, as margins in the clothing chain are being affected.
Share price dropped following the announcement.
The company which trades under the name Penneys here, has said they will implement selective price increases across some of its autumn and winter stock from August this year.
The warnings sent the company's shares lower.
The group said that they are keeping their commitment not to raise prices for their summer stock.
