Postal workers will check in on vulnerable community members in the coming days.
An Post said the post men women will check if they need anything form the shop or pharmacy.
Postmen and women will now not just deliver the post, they will ring the bell to check in on older and vulnerable people living our communities, being a practical & TRUSTED point of connection with our most vulnerable people. @Postvox #Covid19Ireland

This comes as the Government said An Post would deliver a COVID-19 information booklet to every home in Ireland this week.
It explains the services that are in place and what you should to protect yourself and your family.
The Health Minister Simon Harris said the booklet will address any worries and concerns people may have:
“This booklet offers people the best public health information we have available to us at this time and leaves the power to stop the spread of the virus in their hands.”
An Post CEO David McRedmond said staff will use their “unique local knowledge and experience to support all our communities during this crisis.”
