Those heading to the National Ploughing Championships this week are being advised to expect significant traffic delays.
300,000 will descend on Ratheniska in Co Laois, for the three-day event which returns today for the first time since 2019.
Event organisers are urging drivers to turn off their sat-navs and to see the Garda Traffic Plan online for the best route.

Deputy Managing Director of the National Ploughing Championships, Anna Marie McHugh, says people should leave plenty of time to get there
"You should allow at least double the amount of time to get to the event.
"Turn off your Sat Nav and your Google Maps because you really really need to follow the Gardai's traffic plan which is on their website.
"If at all possible, even when you're coming along in the car, get one of your passengers to buy your tickets online and you'll get into the event quicker.
