Manchester United have confirmed former striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been appointed as caretaker manager until the end of the season.
The Norweigan will take charge of the team with immediate effect and will remain in place while the club searches for Jose Morinho's full time replacement.
Mike Phelan is also returning as first-team coach.

Alex Ferguson's long-term assistant left Old Trafford when David Moyes was appointed.
United are away to Cardiff on Saturday, Solskjaer had a difficult spell at the Welsh club in 2014 and failed to keep them in the top flight.
