French supermarkets have been warned not to slash the price of Nutella again, following chaos in supermarkets last week.
Supermarket 'Intermarché' offered a promotion which saw them charge customers just €1.41 for a 450g tub - that's a massive 70% discount.

Unfortunately consumers couldn't control themselves in stores:
As a result of scenes like this, the Economy Minister met with the director of the company responsible for the massive discount yesterday.
"I told him that this must be stopped — we can’t have scenes like this every few days in France", Bruno Le Maire explained to RTL radio.
He says an agreement has been signed between the two parties.
Maybe, Nutella fans took this advice to heart a bit too much before heading to the sale:
