Restrictions on nightclubs were due to be lifted on Friday October 22nd.
The National Public Health Emergency Team is meeting today to discuss the final easing of restrictions.
After the meeting it will give advice to Government on whether nightclubs will be able to reopen this week.
They'll also give a recommendation on capacity numbers at sporting events.
It comes as there's concern from health officials on the recent rise in Covid case numbers and hospitalisations.
