Students at UCD won't have to social distance when they return to lectures next month.
Colleges across the country are finalising their plans for the return to in-person classes.
Most students haven't been able to set foot on campus since the pandemic started, but UCD has announced plans aiming to get back to normality.
Students will have to wear masks in indoor areas - including classes - and lecture times will be reduced to 45 minutes.
There's no requirement for social distancing however - with full-size lectures of up to 500 people returning.
Ruairi Power, president of UCD Students Union, says online learning is essentially being phased out:
"As the current guidelines are set out students are expected to be back in to the same extent as they would have been pre-Covid. So there's no provisions for a hybrid or blended approach."
This comes despite reports that UCD graduations will take place with a maximum of 190 people - meaning student's families and other guests will not be allowed to attend this year.
