The Taoiseach appointed just one minister from the west coast to cabinet yesterday.
Limerick and the North West have no voice at the Cabinet Table
Three TDs from Mícheál Martin's home constituency of Cork have cabinet jobs.
Also six TDs from Dublin got jobs in cabinet.
Micheál Martin and his colleagues will now appoint 20 junior Ministers.
While that may address the regional imbalance, it's not guaranteed.

North West Also Left Out - O'Connell
The Irish Independent's political correspondent Hugh O'Connell says a huge part of the country has no voice at the Cabinet Table:
"It's one of the issues which has come up across the parties in the last 24 hours.
"The fact that there's no senior minister for cabinet from Connacht or the North West."
"You know, you look at the geographical breakdown of the ministerial appointments."
"There's a huge gap there in Connacht up to Donegal, through Sligo and Leitrim."
