€640,000 worth of drugs seized
Nine people have been arrested in Dublin and Wexford following the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of €640,000.
It follows a series of planned Garda searches targeting an organised crime group.
During the operation yesterday, Gardaí searching a warehouse in Dublin's inner city discovered 800 cannabis plants.
Four people were arrested at the scene.
During follow-up searches in Co. Wexford, five more people were arrested.
In all, nine people from Portugal, the UK and Ireland, all aged between 17 and 45 remain in custody in Garda stations in Dublin and Wexford.
