Motorcyclist In His 50s Dies Following Crash In Limerick

The N69 in Limerick is closed between Glinn and Tarbert, after a collision between a car and two motorcycles.

 

The crash on the N69 happened at 12:40pm this afternoon when a motorcyclist, man in his 50s, was in collision with a car and another motorcyclist, a man in his 20s.

The man in his 50s has been pronounced dead at the scene - the younger man has been taken to Limerick University Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

No injuries were sustained by anyone in the car.

A Garda Technical Examination is underway and there are appeals for witnesses and dash-cam footage.
