Met Éireann has issued a Yellow Level weather warning for all of Ireland, announcing that drought-like conditions are set to persist for the next six days.
The warning comes into effect today and will be valid until Wednesday, July 18.
The warning follows a weeklong drought warning that last until midday today.
The statement from Met Éireann reads:
"Update to drought advisory. There will be small rainfall amounts at times over the coming days. However, there will be no significant reduction in soil moisture deficits as evapotranspiration rates will remain high."
