It couldn't last forever!
Met Eireann have predicted rain in their latest forecast for the country;
"There is some uncertainty but latest indications suggest rather more in the way of cloud, but some sunshine. Dry much of the time on Monday but increasing chance of some showery rain developing, however at this stage amounts look small.”
Don't worry though today we are expecting to reach similar highs as yesterday which saw record-breaking figures in Shannon Airport!
Maximum temperatures from around the country today.
32.0°C at Shannon Airport is the highest temperature recorded in Ireland since July 2006 (32.3°C at Elphin, Roscommon).
Forecast max temps for tomorrow (Friday) are 24 to 27°C in the east & south, 28 to 32°C elsewhere. pic.twitter.com/xutxWHW05H

Hot and sunny with afternoon temperatures, similar to yesterday, ranging from 27 to 30 degrees Celsius generally, but up to 32 degrees Celsius locally in parts of the mid-west and west, slightly lower along the coasts due to sea breezes. pic.twitter.com/GpNaoNt5Zz
