Aoife Cheung from Mayo has become the first ever winner of Big Brother Virtual.
She has won €5,000 after surviving a record 4 eviction votes within the online version.
Aoife says the best tactic is to be active and chatty:
"So you log on in the morning and then there's a Head of House competition."
"Whoever is the Head of the House nominates two people to go forward for eviction."
"You really just chat and get to know everyone."
"The more active you are, I think, is the way of winning it."
"People didn't want to kick out anyone who was actually chatty."
"Whereas some people might log on once and not log on again, so they'd end up getting kicked out."
Online Game Will Go Worldwide Soon
So we reported a few weeks back that Ireland would become the testing ground for the first trial.
The game is a collaboration between Endemol and 9th Impact.
Endemol created the original TV version of Big Brother, 9th Impact is a development studio.
Aoife can now join the worldwide release, which comes soon.
While prize money for that version will be in the six figures!
