Holders Chelsea have also advanced to the fourth round of the cup after beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Alvaro Morata scored both goals, but it was Callum Hudson-Odoi who stole the show.
The 18 year old produced a fantastic performance and offered a glimpse as to why clubs such as Bayern Munich are looking for his signature when his contract expires in 2020.
Meanwhile, Cesc Fabregas played his last ever game for Chelsea and was given a heroes reception when he was substituted.
