A man has died following a fire at an apartment in Dublin.
Firefighters rescued him from the building off Benburb Street at around nine last night, where paramedics tried to save his life.
However, he was later pronounced dead at the Mater Hospital.
Benburb Street is just off Wolfe Tone Quay in the city centre - close to Collins Barracks.
Gardaí say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
