A 36-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman who was discovered in an apartment in Co Laois earlier this week.
Sean Egan, of no fixed abode, said he had no comment when he was informed of his charge last night.
He’s been remanded in custody in Cloverhill prison and will appear again before Portlaoise district court next week, via video link.

Ms Crean, who had one small child, was found with serious injuries at an apartment in Mountmellic on Wednesday and later died.
