Election counting
Counting in the European and local elections will resume around the country today.
There are 77 local authority seats left to be filled out of almost 950 nationally.
Results over the weekend show the Green Party benefiting from a 4% increase in its local authority vote.
However, it was a disappointing election for Sinn Fein - the party suffered a 6% drop on its 2014 performance.
A former MMA fighter who been elected to South Dublin County Council says he wants to make a difference.
Sinn Fein's Paddy Holohan - who topped the poll in Tallaght South - says he wants to engage with young people in the community.

While Limerick's first ever Muslim Councillor was elected shortly before 5am this morning after a marathon count in Patrickswell.
Abul Kalam Azad Talukder took the final seat in Limerick City West.
Fine Gael had mixed fortunes but failed to make the gains party leader Leo Varadkar had hoped for.
