George Floyd book of condolence
Lord Mayor of Dublin, Tom Brabazon has opened an online book of condolence for the family of George Floyd.
This grants Dubliners the opportunity to express their sympathies following Mr. Floyd's death.
The Lord Mayor announced the news in a tweet last night.
He said he's opening the book in a bid, 'to stand in solidarity with the people of the USA who are appalled by what happened and to state our support for those who are fighting against racial injustice worldwide.'
The book closes June 17th so you have the next two weeks to get your message in.
According to the Dublin City Council website, all messages will be published, printed and forwarded to the US Embassy in Ireland.
You can sign the book of condolences here.
