Largest aircraft in the world
The world's largest aircraft is on it's way to Shannon Airport.
The Ukraine-registered Antonov AN-225 has a wingspan of 88 meters - the same as the width of the pitch at Croke Park.
It's delivering a cargo of PPE, and took off from Baku in Azerbaijan this morning.
Shannon has the longest runway in the country, and is therefore the only airport suitable for the aircraft to land.

Powered by six engines, it is able to take off with a maximum weight of 640 tons.
It stands over six storeys high on 32 wheels.
