WOW Air ceases operation - cancels all flights
Operations have ended at Icelandic airline WOW Air - with all flights cancelled as a result.
Earlier this morning, flights were cancelled as the airline tried to secure a deal with potential new investors.
However within hours, the company announced to its website that it had ceased operations, with all flights cancelled.
It operated a number of flights to and from Dublin, with its main Reykjavik services allowing connections to North American airports.
Last year the company announced a loss of 30 million euro for the first 9 months of the year.
The airline employs around 1,000 people.
