In the capital, one in four workers spend over an hour commuting to and from work, while the majority travel at peak times.
According to a survey from jobs.ie, workers would like to see a more flexible work day so they could avoid commuting during rush hour.
Almost half of the respondents said that they would move out of Dublin if it meant a shorter commute.
