New governmental restrictions come into effect at midnight tonight.
Bars and restaurants will have to close their doors from midnight onwards tonight.
While it was thought they would exempt originally - hotel bars will also have to adhere to these rules.
That means those staying in a hotel will have to go back to their rooms at midnight.
The news comes as some hotel groups are reporting a 'deluge' of cancellations of Christmas parties.

The Savoy Collection in Limerick is one of those reporting a significant number of cancellations.
Yesterday, Taoiseach Micheál Martin declined to comment on advice on Christmas parties.
The midnight curfew for hotels means that will now affect weddings as well.
However wedding planner Tara Fay says that's not putting off those attending ceremonies.
She said most are "pulling their weddings forward" to start at an earlier time.
