In the UK, music retailer HMV has confirmed it's gone into administration, putting 2,200 jobs at risk.
The company says its 125 stores will continue to trade while negotiations with suppliers and potential buyers are ongoing.
Britain's biggest high street music retailer has 130 shops and employs about 2,200 people.
The company closed its Irish branches in 2016.
Sky News today reported that HMV Retail has filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators, with KPMG's appointment as administrator expected to be announced later today.
HMV stores are expected to remain open while the owners continue negotiations with suppliers and possible buyers.
