Good Weather: Gardaí Out In Force
Garda Superintendent Paul Cleary has asked drivers to give pedestrians and cyclists some extra space.
"We're conscious that with the good weather, a lot of pedestrians, joggers and cyclists will be out."
"We would ask that motorists would be extra vigilant to give that bit of extra room to pedestrians and cyclists."
"Also we've seen a significant increase in the number of drivers detected drug driving"
"An almost 90% increase."
"The Guards don't want to be delivering devastating news to any family this weekend."
