Gardai are investigating reports of a racist incident after a video of a woman being pushed into the Royal Canal near Ashtown in Dublin went viral.
She can be seen confronting a group of boys, where she alleges that they've made racist comments towards her.
Soon afterward, some of the boys then push her into the water.
While the video was originally posted to TikTok yesterday.
However it has been copied to other sites, as the initial account was deleted.
A spokesperson for the Gardai has confirmed that they're looking into reports of a racially motivated incident.

Local Councillor "Horrified" After Watching:
Declan Meenagh is a local Councillor who often walks along that section of the Royal Canal.
"I was absolutely horrified and I really hope the woman is okay."
"Also, I send my sympathies to her for what she's been though."
"So It's horrendous."
"You know, I've walked along that stretch of the canal."
"I know a lot of people use it including young families and people I'm sure are going to begin to feel unsafe."
"So I'm really, really horrified by the video."
