Gardai say they have made significant progress in their investigation into a serious assault on two teenagers.
It happened in Ballyfermot in Dublin.
Both victims have been released from hospital today, and will continue to receive treatment as outpatients.
Gardai say the boy and girl in their late teens were approached and assaulted by a group of youths.
It was as they walked along Ballyfermot Road, opposite the Community Civic Centre, last Thursday at 9.35pm.
Officers have set up an incident room at Ballyfermot Garda Station, and are renewing their appeal for witnesses.
