Five people have died on the roads across the country in the last 24 hours.
The toll has brought the number of people killed on the country's roads this year to 39 people.
Early this morning, a motorcyclist in his forties was killed in a crash in Tallaght in South Dublin.
In Co. Louth, two men died in a single-vehicle collision just outside Carlingford, on the Omeath road.

Meanwhile, a man in his sixties died in a five car pile up on the M6 at Kilbeggan in Co. Westmeath.
Finally in Toome, Co. Antrim, a 28-year-old man was killed in a crash and he has been named by the PSNI as local man Diarmuid McFall.
In a separate crash, a man has been left with serious injuries after being hit in Drumlish, Co. Longford.
The Road Safety Authority are again urging motorists never to drive impaired and to slow down.
