Healthcare staff are anxious and fearful of what they're heading into in January, says the HSE.
100 patients with Covid-19 are in ICU today, which is the lowest number in five weeks.
The latest HPSC data shows five cases of omicron have been hospitalised in Ireland, as of Saturday.

What's To Come
HSE CEO Paul Reid says staff are worried about the months ahead:
"They obviously remain anxious, apprehensive.
"Indeed they are, understandably, probably fearful of what they might have to into again."
"Nobody could ever wish that they would have to go through what they had to go through back in January and February earlier this year."
"Just exactly what might happen next, we can't be certain."
