The EU has taken a major step towards putting a limit on how much it costs to send text messages or make calls in the bloc.
The European Parliament has reached a provisional deal, which will see phone calls within the EU capped at 19 cent per minute.
Meanwhile, the proposals also put a limit of 6 cent per text message sent.
The laws haven't been passed yet, as each member state including Ireland must vote on it first, before it goes back to the Parliament to be passed.
